2024 Mire Studio Concept, Unity Build, Ad-Network Delivery

Mire.

A playable ad that earns the install instead of begging for it. We rebuilt Mire Studio's flagship spot from a static banner into a fifteen-second hands-on demo — and watched click-through more than quadruple.

01 — The brief

A banner nobody tapped.

Mire Studio had a genuinely good game and a genuinely bad ad. The static creative running across their networks converted like wallpaper — seen by millions, tapped by almost none. Every euro of spend was leaking out the top of the funnel.

They came to us three weeks before a seasonal user-acquisition push with one question: can a playable do better than a banner — and can it be ready in time?

02 — Approach

Make the first five seconds playable.

The mistake most playables make is teaching before they let you touch anything. We inverted it: the ad opens mid-action, with one obvious thing to tap, and explains nothing until your thumb is already moving.

Everything after that first interaction is a downhill slope toward the install button — no menus, no friction, no second tutorial.

Three rules we held the whole build.

  • One input. The entire demo is playable with a single tap target. No dexterity tax.
  • Always installable. The store CTA is reachable from any frame, not just the end card.
  • Ships everywhere. One build that passes the spec for every major ad network, not seven forks.
03 — Outcome

Four-point-two times.

The playable replaced the static creative across all seven networks for the seasonal push. Click-through more than quadrupled, completion held above sixty percent, and cost-per-install dropped enough to widen the campaign mid-flight.

Mire now ships every new creative as a playable first. We hand them the template; they ship the variants.

Funtelier didn't just make our ad prettier — they made it a game you accidentally finish. The numbers moved the day we swapped it in.
